Ice breaker: Countable / Uncountable race: Put two boxes at the front of the room. Labelled one «Countable « and the other «Uncountable. Divide the class into two teams. Give each student a small slip of paper with a food name (e.g., apple, rice, egg, milk, banana, cheese). Call out «Go!» One by one, students run up, read their food word aloud, and drop it into the correct box.
